World University Championship (WUC) events are held every two years in an alternate sequence to the Universiade's under the banner of the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The are currently 34 WUC sports in the FISU calendar which are staged in various cities throughout the world.
Australian University Sport selects teams to represent Australia in World University Championship events in consultation with the relevant National Sporting Organisations (NSOs). The Australian team will compete in a number of championships but not necessarily all of them.

We are currently finalising the 2018 World University Championships that Australia will compete in and selection policies for these teams.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN
The following sports are now taking expressions of interest from athletes for the 2018 World University Championships:
To be eligibile to compete for the Uniroos at the 2018 World University Championships, athletes must:
Be a citizen or nationalof Australia;
Be aged between 17 and 25 years of age as at 1 January 2018. Therefore athletes must be born between 1 January 1993 and 31 December 2000;
Enrolled and currently studying a diploma or higher course at a University, TAFE or other tertiary institution (please note deferred students are not eligible to compete);
Have graduated from a University, TAFE or other tertiary institution in the year immediately prior to the event;
Complete an ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE
